In the tenth volume of the book " Majmoo'at al - Fataawa , Shaykh
al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah said , " Verily , the most important worship
after the obligatory acts of worship is remembrance . " Opinion was also
almost has become the consensus of the scholars .So , there are two paths that deliver a slave to the pleasure of Allah swt , ie thinking and remembrance . Thinking or tafakkur conducted on various gifts and favors and
remembrance of Allah is done by calling the beautiful names and
attributes of Allah supreme .
Dhikr in the Qur'an
Allah said ,"
Verily in the creation of the heavens and the earth , and the
alternation of night and day there are signs for men of understanding , (
ie ) those who remember Allah, standing , sitting, lying down and
reflect on the creation of heaven and earth (saying ) : "Our Lord , You have not created this in vain , Glory to Thee , then save us from the torment of the Fire. "( Ali - Imran [ 3 ] : 190-191 )
When pious people gathered , they will be chanting to Allah , while if
the dissidents and evil come together , they will remember and look for
Shelah to bringing them closer to the accursed devil .
remembrance of the righteous it was with beads , tahmid , takbir and
tahlil , while remembrance of people who turned evil and was the singing
, madness , backbiting ( wag others) , namimah ( pitting ) , and an
abomination .
A poet likens the first class by saying ,
" When we get sick, we will be treated with the remembrance of God , and when we are not remembrance , we will fall to fall . "
He
said : "O my Lord , if our hearts are sick , then he will be treated
with remembrance of Thee , then he recovered, while the hearts of people
who are negligent and wicked , will be ill with remembering the
futility and will never live and healthy . "
Allah said ,
" ( They are) those who believe , and whose hearts find satisfaction
in the remembrance of Allah . remember , in the remembrance of Allah do
hearts find satisfaction will be . "( Surat ar - Ra'd [ 13 ] : 28 )
Although the extent of the relationship with delicacy - liver delicacy of the world , but forever he will never be peaceful .
Most humans are very dependent dengau office , magnificent palaces , treasures and the offspring . However , their hearts never serene , peaceful and chest they never feel spacious , as Allah said ,
"
Whoever turns away from My reminder , verily for him is a narrow
livelihood , and we will mengimpunkannya on the last day in a state of
blind . " He said : " O my God , why hast Thou gathered me blind, and I formerly was a look ? " Allah says : " So , it has come to you Our verses , then you forget
about it , and so ( too ) on this day you shall be forgotten. "( Surah Taha [ 20 ] : 124-126 )
Allah also says ,
" O ye who believe! Berzikirlah ( by name ) of God , remembrance as
much as possible . And glorify Him in the morning and evening . "( al - Ahzab [ 33 ] : 41-42 )
But when will it be human remembrance to Allah to remembrance as much as possible ?
Ibn Salah said , " Whoever remembrance to Allah in the morning and in
the evening , then this person is included among those whose remembrance
to God in remembrance as much as possible (whether she was male or
female ) . "
Abdullah bin Abbas said , " remembrance to Allah to remembrance as
much as possible is a remembrance to him at the time of the day and
night , on time or in the time traveler's stay , at a time when
difficult or happy . "
Ibn
Taymiyyah said , "Anyone who continues to do dhikr - remembrance and
kindness taught by the Prophet of Islam , namely the remembrance when
entering the mosque , out of the mosque , entered the bathroom , out the
shower , waking from sleep , start and finish eating , wearing clothes ,
and so , he was among those who remembrance to Allah to remembrance as much as possible ( both male and female ) . "
Some
scholars say , " remembrance to Allah to remembrance as much as
possible does not mean dry tongue of remembrance to him . " Theorem that shows it is the hadith of Abdullah bin Bisr ra . narrated by Imam Ahmad and Imam Tarmidzi with a saheeh sanad . He said , " I told the Prophet , ' O Messenger of Allah , verily the
Shari'ah ( the teachings of ) Islam is already too much for me , so tell
me something that I could commit to and depend on it ! " '
